Dr. Prerna Tahiliani is a fellowship-trained, board-certified Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeon and Ocular Oncologist in Mumbai. She has completed extensive training in her chosen specialization of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery.
After completing her master’s at SSN Guwahati, Dr. Tahiliani trained at the LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. In order to hone her skills further, she went to UCLA and Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles, and Jules Gonin Hospital in Lausanne.

Education and Experience
Dr. Prerna Tahiliani completed her graduation in medicine in 2010 from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. In 2013, she completed her residency in Ophthalmology at Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya – a center of excellence for Ophthalmology recognized by the government of India.
Her penchant for Oculoplastics led her to pursue a long-term two-year fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery and Ocular Oncology at the renowned LV Prasad Eye Institute. She has also interacted with the residents and fellows at the Jules Gonin Eye Institute and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. And her rotation at the Jules Stein Eye Institute greatly improved her skills in cosmetic eyelid and facial procedures.
Dr. Tahiliani has won several awards and recognition for best papers & quizzes in state and national conferences, including the Haren Hazarika and KR Dutta Award. She has also been a keynote speaker at the All India Ophthalmology Society conference during her training days.
Striking a perfect balance between work & personal life, she is an avid photographer and wildlife conservationist. She likes to visit forests and detox.
She, along with her partner Dr. Adit Gupta, has co-founded the only exclusive ophthalmic plastic surgery practice in the city of Mumbai.

Education and Experience
Dr. Adit Gupta completed his graduation in basic medical sciences in 2009 and is a proud recipient of the prestigious Maharashtra University Sudhakar Sane Gold Medal in Medicine.
He completed his residency training at PGI Chandigarh – one of the topmost post-graduate institutes in the country. For his super specialty Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery and Ocular Oncology fellowship, Dr. Gupta chose the LV Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad.
To further hone his skills, Dr. Gupta was bestowed with the David Leveton Scholarship grant at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles. Here, he completed an ASOPRS recognized fellowship at the Jules Stein Eye Institute.
After his training in the United States, he returned to India to set up the first-of-its-kind, exclusive Oculoplasty Clinic, Mumbai Eye Plastic Surgery, along with his partner Dr. Prerana Tahiliani.
Dr. Gupta has attended many international and national conferences as a lecturer. His passion for teaching prompted him to associate with the renowned RN Cooper Hospital and Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital to provide quality training to residents.
